{"id":65,"date":"2016-03-21T16:10:00","date_gmt":"2016-03-21T16:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.holytransaction.com\/hitachi-is-studying-blockchain\/"},"modified":"2023-01-10T03:41:51","modified_gmt":"2023-01-10T01:41:51","slug":"hitachi-is-studying-blockchain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/holytransaction.com\/blog\/2016\/03\/hitachi-is-studying-blockchain.html","title":{"rendered":"Hitachi is studying the Blockchain"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-8prmCrSWI4Y\/VvAcxo7ORtI\/AAAAAAAAATQ\/WLt1wap5rCQfi-UXJqxSWddjwIOqWBV9g\/s1600\/Ray-Ban-RB2140-Original-Wayfarer-Sunglasses-Leonardo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/holytransaction.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Ray-Ban-RB2140-Original-Wayfarer-Sunglasses-Leonardo.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"132\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Some days ago the Japanese company <b>Hitachi<\/b> announced that it will open a research laboratory in the US that will study the <b>blockchain<\/b> ledger and its possible applications.<\/div>\n<div>The lab will partner with Hitachi technology innovation division and it will be opened next month in Santa Clara, California.Hitachi wants to use the research laboratory to work on some projects for its customer base.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20160316005469\/en\/Hitachi-Establish-FinTech-Research-Organization-North-America\">In a press release<\/a>, Hitachi explained:<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;By establishing the Financial Innovation Laboratory in the Silicon Valley, Hitachi will accelerate research [and] development of blockchain technology, collaborative creation with customers, and development of solutions to support business innovation in financial institutions.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<div><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n<div>\n<h3><b>Hitachi partners with Hyperledger<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>This statement follows a previous company\u2019s news related to the blockchain: in fact, in February Hitachi joined the <b>Hyperledger Project<\/b>, an advaced blockchain technology that aims at <i>\u201cidentifying and addressing important features for a cross-industry open standard for distributed ledgers that can transform the way business transactions are conducted globally.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The Hyperledger Project is a Linux Foundation collaborative project that stars some of the most important companies in the world, including IBM, J.P.
