Haruhiko Kuroda talked about cryptocurrency during a news conference, <a href=\"https:\/\/jen.jiji.com\/jc\/eng?g=eco&amp;k=2013122000949\">according to the site Jiji Press<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<em>Compared to traditional ways of money transfer and existing electronic money, Bitcoin has both similar and different aspects<\/em>\u201d, Kuroda said about the digital coin that is currently being <b>studied by the central bank\u2019s Institute of Monetary and Economic Studies<\/b>.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe interest might be there, but Kuroda \u2013 ranked by Forbes as the 39th most powerful person in the world -, also said <b>the Bank of Japan doesn\u2019t plan to take any action regarding Bitcoin<\/b> in a near future.Despite the fact that the Bank of Japan is known as a conservative institution, Haruhiko Kuroda is known for supporting a looser monetary policy in the country.
